Coronavirus: Orange County reported 227 new cases and 4 new deaths as of Sept. 19 – OCRegister

Orange County has to spend three weeks in the red tier, or until Sept. 29, before it could possibly drop down a level, if trends meet the criteria.

The Orange County Health Care Agency reported 227 new cases of the coronavirus on Saturday, Sept. 19, increasing the cumulative total to 51,873 cases.
There were four new deaths reported in Orange County on Saturday, raising the death total to 1,127. The data on deaths in the county is compiled from death certificates or gathered through the course of case investigations and can take weeks to process, officials say.
