That was the message ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter delivered Thursday on Get Up when he was asked about the chances of the New York Jets trading for disgruntled Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.
Schefter said it no less than six times during back-and-forth banter with host Mike Greenberg, a self-professed, die-hard Jets fan.
Greenberg: Its too late for me not to get my hopes up. People say, Dont get your hopes up. Its too late, Schefty. Im passed that point.
