LAS CRUCES, N.M. —A Walmart in Las Cruces will close temporarily after four of its employees tested positive for the coronavirus over the past three weeks.
The location on Rinconda Boulevard must close immediately. Walmart said it is not requiring those who have tested positive to self-quarantine for 14 days, nor are they notifying individuals who may have come in contact with them.
The New Mexico Environment Department is urging customers who’ve been at the location since June 22 to get tested.
NMED is also requiring the store to test all of its more than 400 workers and to thoroughly disinfect the building.
