Tom Brady has had plenty of phenomenal performances throughout the course of his 20 year NFL career. However, one performance in particular sticks out in the soon to be 43-year-old.
Brady sat down with his production company, Religion of Sports, to discuss what he considers to be his greatest performance ever. In Brady’s mind, a 2007 game against the Buffalo Bills was his greatest feat.
During that game, Brady threw for 373 yards and five touchdown passes, four of them going to Hall-of-Famer Randy Moss. In reminiscing about the game, Brady tweeted at Moss, inviting him to come and join him in Tampa Bay for the 2020 season.
“Hey Randy, Bucs red would look good on you!” Brady wrote at the end of his tweet. “Have a few snaps left?”
The 43-year-old Moss, who retired after the 2012 season, was quick to respond to his former quarterback.
Sun nite in Buffalo??4tds in the 1st half!We all rocked that nite!!Thanks 4 the memories TB!Really…..come tryout 4 this team??I won’t make that team wit dem boys!!Ill take my memories and RUNNNNNN!????? and miss u brother????????????????????????????
— Randy Moss (@RandyMoss) July 10, 2020
During that 2007 season, Moss caught 98 passes from Brady for 1,493 yards and a league-high 23 touchdowns. The 23 touchdowns remains an NFL record for most touchdowns caught in an entire season. Only Jerry Rice has recorded 20 or more receiving touchdowns in a season.
Brady will enter this season with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski to throw to. One concern entering the season is how well the Buccaneers offensive line will be able to protect Brady.
According to Moss, fans should be concerned about the offensive line situation. If that isn’t fixed, the Buccaneers and Brady could struggle.
“I think my biggest concern for Tom — you’ve seen what he has, as far as his weapons. I’m not concerned about the running game. I’m concerned about Tom’s protection,” Moss said on Get Up! “They were unable to protect Jameis Winston for so long. If you compare quarterbacks, Jameis and Tom are not mobile quarterbacks. So, if they couldn’t protect Jameis, how are they going to protect Tom Brady?
“I think that’s my biggest concern for me going into the season with the Tampa Bay Bucs. They have a lot of upside, they’ve got some guys on defense, but I think for me, looking at that offense, as far as the passing game, (Rob Gronkowski) having a year off, how does the chemistry between Tom Brady and Gronkowski look? Because if they can start out hot man, it’s going to be some great things coming out of Tampa.”

The Buccaneers’ 2020 season could have quickly turned into a disaster with an 0-2 start, but Tom Brady made sure that didn’t happen on Sunday during Tampa Bay’s home opener.
The Buccaneers quarterback, who has never started 0-2 in his entire 20-year career, started off hot as Tampa Bay jumped out to a quick 21-0 lead on their way to a 31-17 win. There was a report before the game that Brady was extra focused in practice this week, and that definitely seemed to translate on to the field as the…
