Travel agency rescue fund is a lot smaller than the industry wanted

A scheme to help travel agents cover the cost of processing customer refunds has finally kicked off, but the industry is receiving a fraction of the financial help it asked for.
Agents can now apply to the consumer travel reimbursement scheme which will pay out up to $47.2 million, considerably less than the $180m in support the sector sought for processing about $690m worth of cancelled travel.
