Credit Suisse’s has run the numbers over on the increases to the Super Guarantee Charge (SGC) and concluded that the change is not significant to the outlook for fund managers and platform operators if scrapped.
The federal government has signalled it is considering repealing the legislated increases of the SGC.
The laws as they stand will see the rate rise from 9.5 per cent to 12 per cent in FY26, when Credit Suisse estimates additional funds of $18 billion per annum were expected to enter t…
