NZ marks 100 days since last community transmission Covid-19 case

There are no new cases of coronavirus in managed isolation, for the fourth consecutive day.

NZ has marked 100 days of no community transmission of coronavirus in the country, and four consecutive days of no new cases in managed isolation.
The Ministry of Health released Sundays latest Covid-19 figures in a statement there was no coronavirus-related press conferences on the weekend.
New Zealand does have 23 active cases and all are in managed isolation and quarantine facilities, with none of them requiring hospital-level care.

It is potentially 100 days since New Zealands last coronavirus case was acquired through community transmission.
This milestone would put New Zealand among just a handful of countries many much smaller and more remote than New Zealand to achieve such a feat.
